Baroquin heART is an electronic music producer based in Los Angeles. Drawing from a wide spectrum of electronic and acoustic traditions, he creates genre-fluid music shaped by the connections—and tensions—between seemingly contradictory artistic identities.
Classical tradition meets experimentation. Ornament meets abrasion. Familiar forms dissolve into something distinctly postmodern, unified by a sound most fully realized through live performance.
This music is neither behind nor ahead of its time. It is music for the in-between moments.
Extended biography
Baroquin heART is a Los Angeles–based electronic music producer whose influences extend across a broad range of genres, eras, and artistic traditions. These connections inform a genre-fluid sound that resists easy classification and finds its most complete expression in live performance.
At the center of the project is an interest in creative contradiction: the classical and the experimental, ornament and fracture, discipline and improvisation. Rather than choosing between these identities, Baroquin heART places them in conversation, allowing their divisions and points of convergence to shape the music.
The result is a distinctly postmodern body of work—one that draws freely from the past without nostalgia and embraces new technology without treating novelty as an end in itself.
